Slight lean-age
My cars leaning towards the front passenger side, It seemed to start doing it after I replaced the wheel bearing up there. I know that has nothing to do with it but I'm wondering what would cause it to do that. We've got some pretty nasty potholes going on around here right now, which I try to avoid but sometimes at night I dont see them untill it's too late. Even if the strut was wearing out, shouldn't the spring keep it up where it's supposed to be? Right now I can fit one finger between the tire and the fender on the driver side but I can't fit one between on the passenger side. I know I probably had the sway bar too tight when I put it back together but I backed it off a bit and it's still doing it. Is there a common cause for this? Thanks.

Simple, just jack it up and inspect the spring and the hub. Something has happened; did you retighten the lower ball joint? And yes, despite the spring your car could be sagging as a blown strut would allow the car to squat a bit lower than normal.
I wish I could find the images. I actually had an Eibach spring blow out on me. I was hauling full passenger load and heavy system in trunk...rear driver's side spring. Eibach said they'd never had this on a Max at the time. It clearly dropped the car in that corner, raising the front passenger's corner.

Yeah sounds like the strut then. I feel dumb I meant to mention before that when I had it apart I pushed up on it a bit and it was a little "squishy" but not too much. I just thought it was strange that it didn't start untill after the bearing replacement. They're tokico blues. They were in really good shape when I bought the car, but it seems that Tacoma's roads have gotten the best of them. And no..no fat chicks

I'm in the same boat!!! I have no idea why but the front is moving to the passenger side, it's even pushing my side corner light out of it's place, I believe this is even affecting the aiming of my headlights (which is terrible) and I adjust some time ago but then again it's happening, I can easily stick a finger at the driver side from the top of the hood but the passenger side is so narrow, could it be the vibration of a bad engine mount?
