Need new Clutch Master Cylinder? Or just rebuild?
I had a problem with leaking clutch fluid and thought it was the slave cylinder, after closer inspection though, the clutch fluid is actually leaking inside the car down the clutch pedal, so it's the clutch master cylinder after all. My question is that as I push in the clutch, I noticed that the leak is where the piston attached to the clutch pedal moves in and out of the master cylinder. Do I need to replace the whole clutch master cylinder, or should I consider a rebuild kit that maybe includes some sort of seal?
Autozone offers master cylinders from $28 to $42 and rebuild kits from $10 to $19. So there isn't a huge difference in price, but what do think? Other than the leak, there is no problem with the clutch.
Also, how should I go about bleeding it after installation or rebuild (I have a hand pump speed bleeder type thing I used for bleeding my brakes).
Thanks!

If you plan on keeping your car for a long time, and don't want to have problems 3 months from now,go to the dealer for the m/s...Yes you will pay more, but you will have a part that will last for many years without problems...
If you want have problems, then go grab the autozone garbage..
Or you could buy my used oem master cylinder...

If I were going to do it again, I'd just buy a reman part and install it. saves an hour of labor to rebuild..
