Headlight Condensation

I bought my maxima wrecked on the drivers side. I fixed and replaced that area. I went ahead and pulled off the passenger side headlight off my donor and put it in this once since the original had rick chips and holes. This replacement one isn't craked anywhere but keeps filling up with moisture. Any ideas?

To re-seal it do I have to heat it up and seperate the glass? Then use some sort of silicone or similar product and seal the glass back to the housing? O know on my 4Runner to seperate the glass you can put it in the oven.

Don't know how the seal looks on the headlight but i did use this stuff on some leaky altezzas i had on my civic and it worked fine. I had no more moisture in both of them. I removed them and went along the whole seal once or twice.

I was just thinking about doing something like this. It is raining like crazy here and that headlight is full of moisture again. It is like driving with one headlight right now.

This stuff is much thinner than regular silicone and alot easier to apply.

Has anyone had trouble with Headlight bulbs going out due to moisture in the light? I have a small stone hole in one of mine and the bulb keeps blowing. I'm not sure if it's just because of the moisture, because the other one keeps blowing as well after a day or two and that one doesn't have any leaks.

I had a tiny stone hole on my headlamp the size of this lil guy perhaps smaller and in time it managed to kill my Silverstar light bulb

Just try to clean it the best you can.

If you have water spots inside the headlight I heard rinsing it out with distilled water helps.

My car came with an extra headlight bulb in the glove. I wondered why till i seen about 4 bb size holes in the headlight.

You should not even touch the bulbs glass with your hand or let it touch any dirt while installing because the oil will kill the bulb faster especially with higher wattage and xenon bulbs.

I think they would look nice with a black max and even better if you could find matching corners.

Sorry don't know what I was typing there. My max is white. I think the contrast might look good.
