Is this a Genuine OEM Nissan or a fake?

I bought this off eBay and it came inside a Nissan box(Part # 21010-16E03). However, nowhere on the pump can I find the Nissan logo or name.

Please look at the pictures and tell me if it is a genuine one. Thanks.

Does it matter? Are you not going to put it on if its not?

Since the guy who sold it stated it was a genuine nissan part, I would definately want my moneys worth.

The funny thing is that it came with a gasket and a instruction sheet.

To my knowledge, Nissan water pumps do not come with any gaskets or instruction sheet. You have to apply a liquid gasket which is sold separately.

If it is definately aftermarket, I would return it. Can someone please help. (Matt93GXE?)

that's a nissan part number, and since it came in a nissan box, I really wouldn't worry too much about it, as long as it looks new.
even nissan has their parts made by someone else..
"OEM" spark plugs are NGK V-power plugs..
our "OEM" O2 sensors are made by bosch.. they have both a nissan symbol and bosch stamped on them.

should be no problem since many other consumable items like fuel injectors (Denso), alternators (Denso, Bosch), radiators (Nichicon, Calsonic), are all made by obvisouly non-Nissan companies.
