05 350Z rims and tires on a 3rd Gen?

Quick question, will the factory 17" wheel/tire combination from a 2005 350Z fit on a 3rd gen without issues? Are there any modifications needed ie. rolling inner lip on wheel wells etc? I am curious about the fit in stock trim as well as with a koni/intrax drop. Thanks all :-)

and yes, I tried search but it's erroring out so I figured I'd get an answer quicker this way.

Jeff had a couple different sets, both 17s and 18s on his 3rd gen, so I know they will fit. I think the wheels and/or tires were staggered and IIRC, he had two sets of front wheels, at least on the 18s.

Jeff had the track wheels on his car. Well, I think he had the touring wheels on for a few days or something. The track wheels were the ones that got stolen.

OK, so the answer is that they will fit with no troubles then? Stock height and with a koni/intrax drop setup? I just don't want to pick em up only to find later that there will be some issue :-) thanks for all your input

PS here is a picture of the rims in question, are these touring rims?

Here is Jeffs car with the track wheels:

Those are 18s from a 350z, so I am sure the 17s will fit. I am not sure about the tires you have. What is the width? I don't think you can go much wider than 235 or 245 without rubbing.

If I'm looking at Jeff's pic correct, the ones that are actually ON the car are the track edition rims, while the two leaning up against the doors are the touring edition rims (with the one laying on the rear QP being a Cobra rim)?? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I thought they were some kind of G35 wheel.

On the car = track editions
Leaning = G35 coupe 18s
Laying = 98 cobra rim.
Here are the 18" Z tourings:

Sweet, I'm glad to see what it looks like since I'm planning on the same wheels in a while, even on the same color car.

What spacers did you end up using? I think those wheels are 40mm, but I dont know the value of the orignials.

they are stock size, 225/50/R17 front 235/50/R17 rear, rims are 17x7.5 front 17x8 rear, no spacers. fit perfect just the way they are. only downside is that they are staggered and directional so i won't be able to rotate them. lovin em so far.
