where do i start?

whats up everybody? ive got a 1990 max se. ive just desided to keep it for the long hall. its giving me some problems and i would like to know what should be my first step in getting it running good. i live in atlanta and its hard as hell finding someone that works on maxima's. iam also looking for a max club in the area. if someone could help i would really be greatful

Well....

its kinda hard for us to tell you what to fix if you can't tell us whats specifically wrong! what "problems" are you having exactly?

I don't have a mechanic exactly, but I do know a few people who use this guy in Duluth (gwinnett county) called Japanese Motor Sports

where in ATL are you? I live in Duluth when I'm not at school, but right now I'm at summer school and living on Georgia Tech campus

thanks for the replies. the problems iam having are
1. after riding around for about an hour, if i sit in one place to long (5min or so)the car will start over heating.
2.while i sit still my car idles down almost to the point of cutting off but not quite.
iam thinking tune up.
i living in stone mountain craig. i think iam going to call
that japanese motor sports tomorrow. thanks.

If you really want a good job go to your nearest Nissan dealer. I hope they have those in Atlanta.
