What is Thermal Transmitter -

Its a sensor with one wire connector near coolant temp sensor. Its also listed on page EM-45 of FSM. What is this sensor and what does it affect?

Black? It's for the guage reading for water temp.

oh, now i think i know the gauge was going crazy for no reason. Thanks.. I though that the temp sensor would do that together..
