IS THIS GOOD GUYS? I WAS RUNNING (DO RUN) PREMIUM LEADED ONLY. AS WELL, THE INFAMOUS O/D SWITCH. I UNDERSTAND HAVING IT ON GIVES YOU MORE CONTROL OVER THE CAR... HOWEVER WHICH IS BETTER FOR GAS MILEAGE? DOES THIS DEPEND ON WHAT SPEEDS? AS WELL, I JUST REPLACED MY RIGHT WHEEL BEARING MYSELF.. WAS HORRIBLE, AND I AM NOT SURE IF ITS DONE RIGHT..EITHER I DID IT WONR GOR LEFT SIDE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AS WELL NOW. A SHOP HAD TOLD ME IT WAS RIGHT SIDE.. I DON'T KNOW. ALSO - I HAVE TRANNY FLUID LEAKING... HAD REBUILT.. IM THINKING.. IT IS IN RELATION TO THE LEFT WHEEL BEARRING BEING LOOSE? THEREFOR CAUSEING THE CV JOINT (AXLE) TO FLUXUATE THUS INTERUPPTING THE SEAL THAT GOES BETWEEN THE AXLE AND TRANNY?? PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANY IDEAS//PAUL OWENS

 

When the dash light is off, overdrive is on, allowing the car to go into fourth gear. This will yield the best gas mileage.

On a different note... the origional thread was posted, and marked as '250+ MPT'because I had jsut finished getting that figure myself.. and it was on the higher side of previous posts I have read.. so I must not be in bad shape at all. If you will refer to the first 4 words. I ask 'Is this good Guys'? That would be why I titled the thread/post 250=MPG (which should be MPT(ank).
