Anyone remember how much ATF goes in the Auto Tranny for the VE?

If you are doing a simple drain/refill then it won't take as much to refill due to fluid still in the t/c,lines,etc.

My guess would be about 6/8 quarts.

No telling what is in the trans. It is coming out of a friends max that was parted out and being put in his. I think the best bet is draining it all and changing the filter. Just my .02

I can't remember but I thought I saw a drainplug on the tranny pan is there? If so I might as well do a drain and refill on the next oil change.

drain/fill for a ve auto is 5.5qts (approx) iirc. I have an aux tranny cooler so its closer to 6qts now.
