for some reason I can't post a new thread,

Shouldn't the radiator fans come on as soon as you put the AC on? mine is not turning on, anyone know if there is a relay or A/C signal wire that could be faulty?

countless studies show that a/c is MORE fuel efficient than running with the windows down. Which means that you are losing more HP relative to the whole car's motion (this cannot be accounted for on a chassis dyno) with the windows down than you are with just the a/c running. Which reminds me... I got to go put my belt back on.

yeah, i know... but gas is still "cheap." and my ac sucks when hooked up.(i wonder if having the ac compressor unbelted makes any difference on mpg, since it sucks some hp to move the belt and pulleys....)

I have a quick question about th AC. I have in my Maxima The Climate Control Unit for the AC and sometimes the display works fine but 90% of the time the display is to dim to see. I have checked the fuses and all seem to be ok. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated. Because i can never tell the temp i have set at.

you need to have it fixed, there is likely to be bad solder joint on the board where the display is connected.
