Does anybody know how to make the back windows go all the way down for a 1990 Maxima? Is it possible...?

I would say that this particular issue is one that should not be touched. Your problem lies with the window regulator which is set up to stop the window from going down any further. Good luck if you pursue it.

no, you can't do this
it has nothing to do with the regulator
the door is not big enough to let the window go all the way down

take a look at the back door there simply isnt enough room for the window to go down the door curves up to go around the back wheel which makes the door too small

JRicker,
Sway1331 is right about this. It's jsut the way the door is designed and curvers in at the bottom where it meets the wheel well.
Go outside and take a look for yourself. Take apart the door too if you want; it only takes about 5-10 minutes anyway.
