pulse spark plugs?

sorry if this is a repost or previously asked question, but i didn't find it upon using the search function.

any clue what the heck is going on here? what would be the performance increase/longevity benefits?

this product comes with the two piece spark plugs and the wiresets for the pulse spark plug system.

1992 NISSAN/DATSUN, MAXIMA , 6 Cylinders, 3.0L VE30DE, DirectHits P/N B6532-A $255.00

and can be found at http://www.directhits.com/

any thoughts?

You may actually need two or more of those to make full use of the supposed hidden unlocking powers of that ignition system.

Its always amazing to see, from the same manufacturer's write-ups, contradicting statements like
Just install DirectHits and pump
your 5 horsepower engine up to a 7.
It works great in preventing 2 or 4
stroke engines from bogging down.
.................... so basically a 50% gain in power output of the same engine by simple replacement of the ignition system? yet here andhere it only managed to produce about 5% gains on a different application? ...................... where in both cases the dreaded high resistance plug/wires/coil combos are used as opposed to the super duper directhits thingamabob?

and
OPERATING TEMPERATURE: 55°C to 283°C 55°C to 283°C
55C on a system that is supposedly superior in cold conditions where it will undoubtedly help if the damn thing actually did something? ............... guess we are going to have to manually warm the garage with kerosene before you actually start the motor in future in order to experience the wonders of it all.

I don't think any product like that for $250 will improve the performance on a Maxima enough to make it worth the money.

i say take them up on their 30 day money back guarantee. If they suck (which they probably will), write a testimonial... of how much they suck. See if they include it on their site's Testimonials section.

like if you cut the tape on the UPS box that it ships in. but of course the return invoice will be inside, meaning you will have to cut the tape to get to it, but once you cut the tape, you've voided your warranty... something like that.
