identify a plug??

I'm looking to identify a flat light grey plug that comes in by the clutch master cylinder and end up around the brake master cylinder. I just can't figure out what it went to... I don't have a pic, but it's the only set of wires comming in from the firewall near that area. Thanks!

there is a wire that comes in that area that should be plugged to the brake fluid reservoir. I assume it triggers the dash light to warn of low fluid

Did you do a 5 speed swap? I don't see any flat gray connector on mine. Although it's a stock 5 speed.. Maybe it's auto-related, is it hanging loose? Check the wire colors and look for the same colors in wiring diagrams if harness layout doesn't show it in the FSM.

There's a flat grey plug for the ABS system for the front calipher that's in that area. The wire comes out of the fender wall, behind the vacuum reservior goes around the fender past the master cylinder and clutch and goes to the grey plug cliped to the area where the fender meets the firewall, then the wire goes into the fender. Could this be it?

is it by the black cylinder thing that connects to the power valve? if so, it could be the drop resistor plug. and the other end of the wiring would go underneath the battery/intake.

yeah...I'll have to get a picture. Dammit! It's only got 2 wires going into it. I can't recall the colors and I'm not near the car right now. It's also tied down to inner fender well if you will (near the firewall, on the part that the strut assy. bolts to) with a white plastic tie-thing. My apologies for the informal description!! Bear with me.

Oh and yes, I'm in the process of a combo UDP, parallel link, bbk, 5-spd w/ LSD conversion. It's a doozy!

i don't know where it plugs into....it's light grey, about an inch by 1/4 inch, and has 2 wires going into it. I'm not by the car so a pic isn't possible right now. It's in Illinois and I'm at Purdue, I have to make a weekend trip to finish the car.

plug it into your master cylinder just underneath the fluid resevoir. it detects fluid level and keeps your red BRAKE warning light on iff there's no fluid. But I don't know the state of the sensor (on when empty, or off when empty) so maybe unplugging it would turn the light on.. ionno. point is, that's where it goes.
