It's a long story but here it goes....
I accidently hit a huge cardboard box going around 70mph and broke my fog lights. At the same time, the fuse that controls the gauge lights and tail lamps went out. I put in a new one and it blew again in a few hours. Then I put in a bigger fuse and that worked for a week or so. Then I replaced the fog lights and everything worked for a short time but now neither the fog lights, gauge lights, tail lights, fog lights, or clear corners work. Oh yeah...forgot to mention..my fog lights are wired to the clear corners. Also..the fuse is no longer blowing and there is no power going to the clear corners.
Did I break a relay or some other fuse?
Anyone know what the problem could be?
I am taking the car to Nissan to get everything checked out and that'll probably cost me a few hunder....after that I am not messing with anything electrical in the car.

I know that replacing the fuse with a bigger one was not good but it was a quick temporary fix.

I tried to do some troubleshooting so I disconnected the fog lights and still the fuses kept blowing.
I think I simply fried some wires but I really don't want to pay Nissan a lot of money for something I could do myself. Anyone know which wires and where I could have fried?

Thanks,
Roman

Sounds like some burnt out wires. Not trying to sound like a mother but you should never use a larger fuse as a "fix". You're lucky there was a small electrical fire.

Yeah...I know.
I just want to try to fix it myself instead of paying a lot of money to Nissan. I'll try to take apart the fuse box today and look behind it and see what's up with the wires.

Whoops, that should read "wasn't a small electrical fire"
