I think people just shouldn't down cars they havent driven. The newer mustangs are great cars, esspecially when modded. The Maxima is a great car too, but in a different class.

92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed.

Gentlemen- I am a performance car enthusiast, not biased toward any particular car. All have their strong AND weak points. I do tend to buy Nissans and Hondas because of their legendary reliability and build quality, but I like many different cars.
As far as Mustangs go, they are a total BLAST to drive. And yes, they handle pretty well, but the fact that the stang has a live rear axle makes it a handful around quick corners... especially with all the torque they have to break the rear-end loose. That can make it very entertaining if you know what you are doing!
