Hi

I have a 93 GXE and when I change gears there is a slight scratching noise - like a short "khrrr". The transmission performas well, no slippage, no noise or shaking - just this funny noise. Any ideas? Also, the noise happend almost regardless of outside temperature, engine temperature, or the mood of the maxima (something we have all come to respect and reckon with)

How old is the tranny fluid. Even if its not the problem, its worth doing a drain and fill anyways.
