I recently discovered that I have two broken studs one on each side of my manifolds. I suspected some type of exhaust problem because of the "ticking sound" that proceeded my mechanic's diagnosis. He also told me that this is a common occurance on Nissans that use this engine (VG30E) and that there ought to be a recall on vehicles that have this problem! Has anyone heard of a recall("silent" or otherwise) for cars with this problem?

Thanks Jeff92se! I've found the #(94041-Apr94) and I will get a copy of it from the library. It appears that this is a service bulletin and not a recall! I'll let you know how things go. Thanks again.
