I have a 1990 Maxima Brougham with the Bose sound system and I recently bought a new sony CD player headunit. The only problem is the volume is very loud even on the very lowest setting. I was told this may be caused by each speaker being seperately amplified. Can someone please tell me how to go around the seperate amps and just let my headunit give power to the speakers.

Thanks in advance.

once you get the speaker out and you are looking at the wires.... there are going to be 4 wires.... two little ones and then two more that are alittle bigger...... the bigger ones are the amp wires.... just cut those two and wrap the end with elec. tape and you should be set
