A/C Issues

I had a new switch installed after the old one MELTED on the inside. After the installation, I cannot get cool air on more than one setting (bi-level). Also, when I am sitting in traffic, the car starts blowing hot air and will not blow cool until I accelerate.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Slipping belt maybe.
