I am thinking of buying a 1991 maxima. I went to look at it and the electric door locks were acting up. other that that it was realy nice and I realy liked it. Is the problem with the door locks a big deal and expenxive to fix? What happens is when you go to unlock the door with the key it locks the doors right away and you can't get in unless you are very fast. Then when you get out they are locked and you have to pull the lock really hard in order to get out. Any ideas. What would it cost to get that fixed?

 

Mine do that too but only when it is extremely cold outside(kinda weird) but they will only do it like once then they are fine after. I just have to turn the key a little slower when it is really cold out and I am opening the door for the first time. I don't know what causes it though so this probably doesn't help you at all..but I figured I would share.
