Wanted:mesh grill
#1
I really want a mesh grill really bad. I tried making one but did a pretty lousy job and bought a new chrome one for my black max. It looks good but I would rather have a mesh grill on it. I know that Ka leb makes grills but I think 60 he charges $60 bucks and I think that that's a lot considering the mesh only cost at most $10. So if anybody is willing to make me one cheaper or sell theirs let me know PLEASE!!!!!!

When you do the mesh grille, do you add your choice of logo or emblem?
I'd like one with the GT-R emblem if anyone wants to do it...
I have a 1990 GXE... can you the grille with chrome border?

abdiddy: Actually the mesh is about $2.95
James: Damn right it's hard, and yeah I charge about that same price, but I havne't done one in a while because it takes so much time. When are we gonna meet up??
Maxirasta: The best way to put a GT-R badge on a mesh grill is to remove the backing for the adhesive, then, firmly press the emblem onto the mesh, where it will be secured by the adhesive that is already on the emblem.

Kaleb: Ah, finally someone that understands how time consuming it is! Days of sanding, filing, shaping the mesh, painting, wet sanding, blah blah blah. Not to mention it tears the crap out of your hands! lol. Well, of course you already know this, you are the original mesh grill man. We need to meet up sometime soon. You're in Richardson, right?
BTW, I do what Kaleb does to mount the GTR badge, and then I turn the grille over and use some hot glue on the backing of the mesh and the badge.
