92 maxima surging problem

I have a 92 SE that surges quite violently between 2000 & 2500rpms. I've seached through lots of information trying to find similar problems, but I'm still having no luck.
The vehicle surges happen all the time. It seems that you can power through them by mashing the gas. If anyone has an idea or even a place to start looking I'd appreciate it . I'm working on checking the the fuel system for proper preasure as well as testing the O2 sensor .

I have the same problem with my 92 se have you found out anythin yet?
