sunroof problem....
it was raining over here today. i was about to drive out of the driveway, which is a slope at the end. my parents in the back seat. all of a sudden they tell me to stop cuz they saw water leaking from the ceiling. apparently it was either from the sunroof and seeped through the cloth, or somehow got straight to the cloth. has anyone seen this same problem? and if so, can i take care of it myself or do i have to take it to the dealer.
It happens withs sunroofs...
No big deal, but just take it to someone who knows what they are doing man. I screwed up my sunroof, had to buy a new "used" one, screwed that one up as well...etc. All because I figured that it'd be easy. Just save yourself more trouble and take it to a proffessional.
My Two Cents...

leaky roof.......
no man you dont need to take that to a shop it is a simple fix.in the trunk, towards the bottom is a little brass t type fitting that is more than likely clogged. to get to it all you have to do is pull back the carpet, pull the hoses out(drain them if they are clogged, and soak the brass fitting in vinegar and baking soda. thats all ya got to do

whoops....
sorry i guess i didnt clarify. the t-thing and the hoses are right on the fenderwell on the sides of the trunk. they are at the bottom, on the passenger side it is near the jack brace. if you still cant find it, look on the bottom of the car right by the mudflaps...there is a rubber piece with a hole in it right there which is the part that protects the brass fitting. hope that helps......
