z euro cams

the euro cam you definetly feel mid to high very hard i have personaly pulled away from 94se five speeds on top end and vg 5speed with stage two clutches iam not saying all this is due to cams since the car has been tuned on the dynoe with apexi afc and numerous runs with different timing settings for optimal performance. And also i give 4th gens a run for there money ask some of the guys who rode up to the jersey meet i can hang and bring some drama.

I had the ISKY cams.......

I installed the ISKY cams in my VG, but I also had ported heads and a valve job. If there is anything I learnt its to replace the valve springs! My engine self destructed because my springs were too old to keep up with the 6000rpm+ I was turning in 3rd gear (auto). I have seen a Z31 with basically the same mods as my maxima lay down 159rwhp/171rwtq. Also I have another dyno of a Z31 gaining 13rwhp from JWT stage II cams. IMHO cams are a big investment, the labor alone is $500+. Before the install make sure the installer checks the valve springs, mine had 219k miles DOH! Don't forget to replace both cam oil seals, timing belt and tensioner, front crankshaft oil seal. BTW the ISKY cams are regrinds, generally regrinds aren't as effective as new billet cams. I believe the JWT cams are better than the ISKY cams (depending on grind that is).
