I'm so far from the baseline wheel horsepower I don't know what to compare my new numbers to once I get mine on the dyno. Anyone know (or guess)what stock number are? I'll take numbers from cars with just a few mods too, better than nothing. Thanks everyone.

I think......
high 130s to mid/low 140s for the autos and 140s-150s for the 5spds...I rememebr hearing that a while back but I'm not really sure. I know for a fact that VQs are 150+ depending on tranny, so go figure I guess!?

Last I heard...
driveline loss on an average FWD 5spd would be about 15% - 20% that would put the VE 5spd at 152 - 160 FWHP according to my calculations. But of course with something 7+ years old there can be a lot of other factors affecting the power output.

i'm pretty sure it's in the 150's. i cant see it losing 60 hp through the drivetrain....

I heard on TNN that its %20 auto, %18 manuel
So that would make our max at about 152hp.

ofcourse like johnnymax said its an old car and if things like the ignition coils are not replaced it'll be lower.

You guys are great. Thanks for the input. I am soo happy with my exhaust (in my quest to increase HP). Check out my pictures at the Warpspeed thread, http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=62166

Im curious, would heavier whees affect the Dyno numbers? I know it impacts acceleration, but do they suck more power on the dyno as well?
