Low RPM Miss in 93 Maxima
My wife's 93 has developed a miss or rough running at low rpms. I have replaced the dist. cap which was cracked, new rotor and plugs. No change. Added Chevron injector cleaner and still no change yet but have not ran the tank of gas out yet either. Do the injectors go out gradually or all at once on these cars.
Do you think I will have to replace an injector or is one just stopped up some? The thing I find strange is that it is not consistent. Sometimes it runs fine at low rpm other times it doesn't. Runs fine after you give it the gas and run at 45 to 55 mph.
Any suggestions from you experts?
Thank You

Please examine your coolant temp sensor. The connector should be a red color. Pull it, clean it and then use some dielectric grease to prevent corrosion. Also take a look at the pcv and egr valves. Measuring the plug wire resistance is a good idea also.
