The power locks on my 93 SE have quit working. I can a clicking noise, but the locks will not raise or lower. Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

 

most likely problem is your door lock timer
this is the cause of probably 90% or more of door lock troubles

you can replace it for $60 or so with a new part or if you have some electrical knowledge, you can take it apart and resolder all the joints with some flux and that usually cures it
if you dont want to do either of those either because you dont have time or dont know how to solder, contact Matt93SE and he'll fix it for you and return it for a small price
I could do it for you too, but I dont want to take business away from Matt since he is the one who told me how to fix it

 

I jut went out and bought the timer. It is quite easy to fix

 

I am having the same problem to. I think I am going to try to resolder some parts that looked burnt. If that doesn't work .. Courtesy Nissan, I hear is the cheapest.

 

When I try to lock all 4 doors from outside(using key) only the driver side will lock. It used to lock all 4 doors. Does this also fall in the same category of possible fixes? thanks.
