I need to know who has the fastest third Generation maxima with an auto tranny.

I just really need to know.

 

fastest SE or GXE or does that even matter? I have a GXE and my best is 16.4 and I think that's fast for a gxe

 

VG= Skymax with a 15.3 or 15.4, VE auto is still unclaimed(as far as I know), I assume you are attempting to take the VE crown??

Dirk, I'm pretty sure you've got that one so far. Keep in mind though that alot of us VE auto guys havent even been to the track. I think we can basically count out any VG auto's already unless they are heavily heavily modded (sorry guys). You're just not gonna get a fast auto without the VE. Well Nevin was running 15.3-4 but his car is gone gone. I can assure you though, I will eventually have one of the fastest if not the fastest 3rd gen auto.

 

I dont know if a 15.67 on gtechpro counts with 2 people in the car.

Props to my buddy Mike 'Dirkyboy' for running a 15.6??? VE auto power!! The cool thing about his ride is that once he dials in, he is there for the rest of the day. I dunno if he already did his braggging yet, but he took out the 100+ car field at our last import challenge to be the runner up in his class. We watched with baited breath as he lined up with his dialin at 15.95 and he would be within 2-3 hundredths every time; just killing the competion.

 

What about The Max?

 

I took MY Max to the track and ran a 16.6, with nothing special on my car other than straight pipe instead of a cat. But my car runs like crap, and needs some help. I'm almost certain that I can do better than that. And what was funny, is that people were laughing when I lined up to dial in. First pass, dialed in somewhere at 16.2 or something. But I was the first one, and it was early in the day, which made a BIIIG difference. My run was next to last, and it was probably 3 or 4 in the afternoon, so the car was really warmed up by then.

 

yea thats getting into vg territory with a 16.6, should be about 8 tenths quicker to a second almost with almost stock.

 

okay, so for now, my 15.6 is what I will claim as the fastest 3rd gen auto, unless someone pipes in.

My car will be in the fourteens (possible thirteens with more work) only 3 people know about it though.

I want to keep that crown.

You have some challengers Dirk. Me and James I havent been to the track yet but me and the MCC boys are heading out there soon. And I will begin my practice. Hopefully I will have my UDP by then.

Track was supposed to be this weekend but not sure now. But I will be at the track running on ESPN I am %100 positive on Sunday October the 21st. And UDP will be very soon I need to take care of some debt and see what I have to play with.

as for keeping my end up, I am going to the track on the 13th.
