OK all, do you guys think a 94 SE engine will fit into a 92 SE engine? Both I think are fitted with the VG30DE engine. Not too sure about the Transmission, I think that might fit. Can anyone help me?

92-94 se's are the ve30de, they have the same engine and the same tranny.. vg30e is the engine in the 89-91 maxima different engine and tranny than the ve

The SOHC VGs are also used in all 89-94 GXE applications in automatic-only form. If the engine has "Twin Cam" and 3000 written on a red sticker on the valve cover then it's a VE30DE. Should say this somewhere too on the vehicle plate on the firewall.
