Wussup I've been gone for a while but I just wanted to know how the spray worked out. I said I wasn't trying to spend anymore money but the JWT stage 1 cams are calling my name, I talked to JWT and they said I don't need new valve springs or retainers so I might get them.

Guess what homes

I will be moving back to the S Fla area with three weeks (Broward county) I haven't had a chance to install the spray, it's still sealed within its container. Just in case I chicken out, the resale value will be higher with a sealed kit. Anyway I've been doing alot of personal things dealing with relocating, and once I'm settled it will probably take a few months before I can consider spraying. Later

be careful about skipping the retainers and springs...I think Nismo87's Max died after he put in the Isky cams without changing his valve springs from the old worn out OEM ones....IMO I'd get new springs, retainers and lifters...might cost more but its insurance to keep the engine from going south on you after putting the new cams in!

Also keep in mine Nismo's car had about 250k miles on it and he'd been running a freshly rebuilt engine at redline for several miles to break it in.. that's when the spring broke..

but yes, I would highly recommend new valve springs too. they're around $200/set I think.
