Well, in my search for the gas smell yesterday, I was underneath my car and to my suprise, I find that one of my exhaust pipe hangers has completely rusted off the exhaust pipe! There's not a hole in the pipe, yet. If I leave this pipe be, will the movement of the cat and so on back to the rear of the car possibly damage my exhaust manifold?

Another thing. When I was tightening up my fuel lines, I noticed a puddle of power steering fluid around the piston on the firewall in the bottom of the engine compartment. I turned on the car and turned the wheel and the boot that protects the piston is completely ripped up! My power steering hasn't given me ANY trouble...what gives?
