ok, tomorrow is my first time roadcoursing, i have ST springs and a courtesy strut bar. from those of you that have done this, do you leave your spare in? also, our max's have a tendency to understeer right? i'm just wonderin. this is all last minute and stuff. I'll post pics later.

Since its a FWD car its going to understeer more then oversteer, and i would take out the spare to lighten things up a bit......

Actually, I would do exactly the opposite.. When I had my 300lb system in my trunk with only ST sways for mods, I could outcorner a fully-modded 3rd gen. (ST sways, eibachs, tokicos, FSTB, 16" rims)..

His back end came around on the corners, and mine stuck like glue because of the additional weight in the trunk.

No, I couldn't get off the line quite as fast, but when you can make it up in the corners, it's all good.

ok, i took everything out, cause i wanted the *** to swing out. it really didn't make a difference. i could just barely get the *** to hang out. i took 2nd in my class. i was racing D class Streep prepared. i beat a heavily modded talon and prelude. and i got beat by half a second by an audi A4. but in a fun run, i beat his time by a second! too bad it didn't count.
