I'd have to say this is one of the biggest and only design flaws in this car, and i was wondering what you guys use. The ones at the auto stores are all big and clunky and seem pointless, i want something that will just fit nicely in the center console, thanks.

as long as you don't have an in dash CD player, then you can get a cup holder. Since the head unit is a double din, if you only have the bose tape deck like i do, then the bottom is a cup holder. if you only have a tape deck you can probably get a cup holder out of a junkyard

err, you mean as long as you have a NISSAN double-din cd player, I have cup holders still and I have a single din cd-player. the cup holders are still too weak..maybe they'll fit a redbull or a v8..otherwise everything fits between my legs.

yea, i have a single DIN deck, kenwood, but the space below it is free, so in later models they installed a cup holder there? Ok cool, i guess ill try and go dig one up.

I just got one of those card board cupholders that you can get at like Wendys or McDonalds when you order like two or more drinks to go. I keep it under my passenger seat because I have both DINs filled. That works for me.

My max got cupholders...

Right under the BOSE tape deck/am/fm radio... but I often find the hole for the cup too narrow, I then used slide the part with holes back inside and just put the cup/can/bottle down without anything... but I don't do this anymore, I always end up spilling **** all over the car after 30 feet of driving at high speed, (damn NYC streets) I've stained my floormats, seats and left smells in the cloth seats. Any open beverages I have now, I end up stuffing between the seat and the door, it holds much better then any cup holder, or, if I have a passenger, I make them hold it.

As James said.. I don't allow people to eat or drink in my car.. I'm STILL cleaning up a coke stain that keeps reappearing under my seats from before I bought the car 2 years ago! it's a ***** to get this car ready for a show, since I have to yank the seats and shampoo the entire carpet to get it all to match for each and every show..
damn, I think I've pulled those seats porbably 50 times.. I need some quick-release clips for them! LOL!

Matt,

I got the wheels, they look great. Just waiting on the tires. Should have them mounted this weekend, with the new brakes!!!!!

I pulled cupholders off of a passat. It will mount to the passenger side of the center console by the shifter and they fold up when you don't need them. It works a lot better.

i'm going to buy some of those gook cupholders they sell at a local rice shop. they clip into the air vents and will hold small thing like soda cans. they look nice, you can get carbon fiber look or aluminum look.

I just stick my drink between my driver seat & my door. Makes a good little area since the drink doens't fall back.. and I haven't had one fall forward yet..or if its a small enough glass/cup I still it between my ebrake & seat..

COKE STAINS

I had a big coke stain on the old max's seats...You can buy stuff from walmart that gets it right out without bleeching the color of the clothe...it's supposed to be used on clothes and carpets...I forget what it's called but im sure those products would werk on your car...

Go to the dealer.

The later Gen3 Maximas do have cup holders, Just go to your nearest Nissan dealer and tell them you have a '94. I just got mine for a whopping $40.00 and I work for a Nissan dealer. Better than a spilled latte though. Now all I have to do is rip apart the dash....

hey buckmax, kickback with the racial remarks and ish man.

Matt, that reappearing coke stain, that's spooky man. Might be haunted or something. Wash your car with some holy water -=P.

AHHH Ok, it's friday, time to leave work

Yeah, little 20 oz bottles of soda fit in there perfectly. You can even stack them!
