Low Compression

Ok so I took the new gxe I got in to have a injector put in, And the guy working on the car calls and said it has low compression in one cylinder. So my question is how will this effect the car.

it means a power loss, and if the compression is low enough, a bad cylinder.

Sorry to sound stupid but by bad cylinder do you mean a dead cylinder.

a dead cylinder would be 0 compression. low compression is anything above that.

Rebuild a motor or throw it out. You won't have the same Horse power or torque and it might drive rough and have a bad idle. Meaning a person before you didnt know what are oil changes and how to hit 1/8 of the pedal istead of 8/8.
