What did you get, The "I can't believe it's not pink" Bulbs?
Looks good in the night, but with the light, it looks a little hot pink.
Kinda reminds me of my friends making fun of my Gameboy Color. I said "It's not pink, it's berry."
But what can you do to gain more R in the RGB. Oh well, nice change.

Im not sure but i have the LEDs in my switches and they only needed one resistor and thats a 12v current going the switches right. So if you put about 12 LEDs in the cluster couldnt they be fine without a resistor or not? i Know theres a formula for hwo much resistance youll need for an x amount of LEDs and Y volts but i dont know it off hand. Try it every other way before cutting into the stock harness.

Don't worry, I'm not making fun. I just thought the color would more Red. It looks good with no light hitting the panel, but I guess the console doesn't bring out the Red in unless it's night unlike the Green color. Does it really look like that in daylight (less red) or do I need to adjust my monitor?

Leds are generally designed for a voltage of about 3 - 4.5 volts. I've hooked them up to a 12v source (unresisted) just for kicks, it's rather amusing but a potential fire hazard :P (and waste of an led)
That being said, unless you can find Leds that are designed for 12v, you need resistors no matter where you use them on a car.
