I don't know whats going on here. When I'm cruising and step on the gas my car pulls to the right. it tracks straight no wheel wobble. I got a set of new tires all four, inner tie rods, outer tie rods are good, and an alignment.

does anyone know whats the deal with this thing?

 

Your passenger side control arm bushing is bad(the small front bushing)..most likely due to either a power steering leak,or an engine oil leak from your front main seal..

you can buy a new control assembly with new bushing installed from member internetautomar..--->http://internetautosupply.com/catalog/

or you can get them from ebay..I do recommend replacing both sides while your at it..

 

I just checked his site. Correct me if I'm wrong. He has one that says its the arm with the ball joint attached, is the bushing attached too?

I got an arm from him in the past for my VE. Guality stuff!!

 

MyGreenmax94 - I was hoping for it not to be the the control arm. Its kinda cold in NY to be changing the arm outside lol.

 

yeah,it comes with all new bushings,and ball joint.

yeah, according to the discription, it seems more like the bushings.
he said it happened when he gets on the gas, not hits a bump.
I changed the driver side bushings on my car this weekend, and my car is doing the same thing now.(passenger side coming soon...)

Is there a difference between the bushings on the control arm for a GXE vs. an SE? I checked out some sites and noticed there are different part numbers for the same year but different trim.

Does anyone know if there are polyurethane bushings for the arms?

 

energy suspension 7.3111 is part for a 4th gen control arm bushing set.
internetautomar has 'em, can be bought elsewhere, too.
the rear bushing will hafta be cut to fit.

as for the difference in part numbers on gxe vs. se, i do not know why there is a difference...

as for bushing replacement, yeah, you can get the bushings for about $50, but, unless you have a hydraulic press, it's worth it to get the control arms new as a whole.
they have bushings, and ball joints. the ball joints and front bushing installed alone are worth the extra 30 each arm.

 

thanks for the info. One last thing. If I do get the control arm w/ the ball joint and bushings(which is a good deal), are the bushings rubber or polyurethane. The reason why I ask is that I'm looking for stiff control. Thats my first step before moving on to shocks/springs etc.
