Transmission/Electrical Problem

Intermitently, the car appears not to shift gears when more gas is applied. The rpm's increase on the tach to about 3000 but no additional power is generated. If the car is stopped and the ignition turned off and on the problem disappears.
The problem could not be reproduced by the Nissan dealer and he claimed no fault isolation tools.
