firewall drilling

If this has been answered before, I apologize for my ignorance in refusing to use the search method, I cant spend too much time on right now so I just thought I would ask.

I'm installing some washer nozzle lights on my friends car, 93 SE, and I need a place to drill through the fire wall so I can put a switch in the cabin, where is the best place and what size bit? Thanks in advance.

i dono if it's been answered...i'm new. but i have a 93 maxi and to run wires for my washer nozzles as well as fog lights and indiglo gauges i ran them down the right side of the firewall where there's a hole already. then i ran them through the drivers side door where all the wires for the power in the door run into the cabin and from there you can go wherever you want. i don't have any pics to help explain and i dono if that was good enough, but if you can do it it works great.
