Getting distributor off

How do you get the distributor off? One of the front valve cover screws is underneath the distributor. I have unscrewed it about 1/2 way by wedging a screwdriver in there and probably could get it all the way out but no way could I tighten it properly after replacing the gasket.

I have taken off the cap, the rotor, the big bolt (hold down bolt?) and 3 little screws in there but am scared to disassemble much more.

Any suggestions? Looking at Chiltons there doesn't seem to be anything else holding it on after taking off the big bolt that is easy to get to.

Thanks.
Bryan.

just the one bolt holds the distributor in. you may need to pry it out because of the o'ring seal

Just make sure you mark the position of the rotor before you remove it. It saves a bit of time later!!
