Hey CoolMax,
Would you take sixty for it, if not what amount are you looking for?

$60+shipping&handling for the BOSE AM/FM radio w/ cassette sounds fair to me. Does that work for you?
I also have a '91 GXE grill(same as '89-91) for sale: $60+shipping and handling.
Or both items for $100+S&H.

I will only accept Money Orders sent through USPS (United States Postal Service). This seems to be the most popular method of transaction and is the method I have used for items purchased on this BBS.

We can discuss the transaction over e-mail: coolmax91@hotmail.com

AM/FM/Tape/CD!!!!!!

It's out of my 93 GXE and it works fine. I just took it out a couple of months ago b/c I needed pre-amp outputs. If you're interested....write me back. I figure $85 OBO. I mean, if the tape player is going for $60, I'd be willing to pay $15 more for the CD player too.

Can you send me pics of the stereo, will this connect to mine even though mine is a 1989, in other words does it have the same connections in the back?
email pics to : halston.arias@qwest.com

Bose Stereo Repairs

I had replaced the original cassette deck (Bose) with one from 93 SE two years ago. It ran fine for a year then speakers started to die one by one. At one time all of them were dead. The Bose CD/Cassette combo was working whenever it wanted. I noticed on hot days it would not work at all. I even email Bose for help but no luck. In short I got the radio repaired by a stereo repair shop at a town nearby. It cost me 85 + tax to repair the deck. If you have taken the stereo out you will notice, Bose is not the maker of the stereo. Mine is actually made by Clarion. Some of the circuts are crudded and loose and cause overheating of the circut boards. The solution is simple just the broken/loose area again. I found a shop called In House Service Company in Steauket New York (see web address below)who repaired my amps for about $65 per amp. They also repair decks too and do offer discount if you repair all four speaker amps. Anyway I got the original system running again.

Anyone else have a Bose Radio with the CD player?

I have a 94 GXE and want to get a CD player for it. I don't feel like dealing with the rewiring of the speaker issue and buy a new one. If you can email me, abcb@akula.com, if you have one and how much you want for it I'd appreciate it. Also, I'm looking for one that isn't tempermental. I'd hate to get one and then have it only work when it isn't hot out. Thanks.
