Anti-freeze Leak

I just found out tonight that I am leaking anti-freeze from under my 94 Max SE. Preliminary checks show that it is dripping from the pulleys that turn the belts. I will check it further tomorrow when their is sufficient light. Anyone had this problem before and/or has ideas of what I need to check first. I am hoping for something as simple as a heater core, but it doesn't look good to me with the leak coming from the pulleys.

Well,

It could be the thermostat housing(easy fix), if is coming from the upper area around the belts, or the water pump (not so easy) if it is coming form the lower area around the drive belts.

Check hoses. I just blew a U hose this weekend.
It's on the right hand side of the engine.
No one stocks the part so I have to wait until Wednesday before I'm back in Max.

I'm not sure of our Max's, but most water pumps I think have a little weep hole at the bottom. When it starts leaking antifreeze from here, expect to replace it.... I just hope it's something simpler. Good luck.

If it's an SE and it's dripping from the pulley, it's probably the water pump. The thermo housing is on the other end of the engine (near the throttle body). Mine did the exact same thing. The pump was not that hard to change (didn't have to pull motor mounts or anything). I hear, though, that some options like ABS may make it a little more difficult.
