Windows will not roll up??

The other day i was driving and i tried pressing the buttons to roll up my windows and it wouldn't work. the controls on my driver side panel let me roll down all the windows but nothing happens when i press the button to roll them up. But on each individual door they switches all work fine?...

...i took off the driver side door today and didn't see any loose wires or connections, does any one know what the problem could be?.. do i need a whole new button control thing?

Yes, you need a new master switch. I have replaced mine twice. The current one usually works, but needs me to whack the side of the door panel every now and then. They are about $110 new from the dealer or just grab one out of the junkyard. In fact, this is one of those parts I usually stock several extras of in my garage. Also, don't bother trying to fix it, the circuit board has WAY too much going on.

This problem is fixable. You need to look for burnt traces circuit board and bridge it. It's easier to replace the whole thing though.

If you ride around w/your driver side window cracked in the rain you'll have this problem again.
