yes, a few have put them in the 3rd gen here, and yes the rails have to be modified to fit the 3rd gen.

I dunno why someone would want the fat/bulky/ugly 4th gen seats in the 4DSC anyway J-yard availability i guess.

300zx or corbeau seats are the best option for the 3rd gen imho..

If they are easy to put in, he wouldn't be the only one who has it. Yes, the rear seat from the 300zx fit right in.
Don't think i've ever seen people put different seat in the back.

are the 300zx seats and the Corbeau seats much lower to the ground? I've been wanting to put in a lower driver's seat in my car for several reasons. so the wheel won't be as angled (and so i can move the seat further back a little bit, giving more legroom), so i can see my switches, so the armrests actually touch my arms, so the shifter will be closer to my hand, so the cluster will be more in the line-of-sight without looking down so much, and so my legs will be at a shallower angle to the ground.

No, the opposite. I actually sit higher on my Corbeau( Yes, the purple one) than my original seat because of the bracket/slider, but i still think this is my favourite mod so far. It put a smile on my face every time i sit on it.

what do 300zx rear seats look like in a maxima? That sounds intriguing.

Well not everyone know, the back seat from the 2+2 won't but the back seat from the 2 seater will. I've seen it in person.

Uhhh do you even realize what you just said? The 2 seater 300zx HAS no rear seats. Hence why it' s called a 2 seater. Only the 2+2 had rear seats.

I've never seen a leather/ fake leather Seat cover look good. IMO if you want leather, dish out the money to get your seats reupholstered or buy leather seats to replace yours. It's such a turn off to me when I see a car for sale with any kind of vinyl or leather seat covers, it basically tells me the seat under it is trashed and will need to be replaced.

When I go camping I sometimes put our extra set of fabric seat covers over my cloth just to keep them clean, but other than that I can't stand them. Just my opinion though.

Also, if you don't get it car specific, all the "one size fits all" covers will usually be saggy, or bunch up in one area, or too tight in one area or too loose in another, etc.

As answered earlier 89-94 Maxima seats will fit and yes they're easy to do, the rear may be a bit difficult to pop from the clip underneath the seat and near the deck but its only 4 10mm bolts.

I have a 4th gen and a 3rd gen and I would NEVER consider 4th gen seats..they look good but they are hell! My 3rd gen's seats are SOOOOOO comfortable over the 4th that I almost feel like putting 3rd gen seats into the 4th gen
