I here it clicking, it sound like it wants to open,its holding in place .But when i try to open it from inside the car it doesnt open. I have to kinda pry it open by hand.Any suggestions!

 

if you pull back the carpet in the trunk you should be able to reach the release I think you pull the white plastic thing and it should open then adjust so it works and give it some lube and some on the hing might be a good idea and check the spring thing (a little piece of metal that pushes it open) and make sure everything is lining up right

 

Also, check to see if you can pull the cable without the handle. If you can, then see if the cable is just binding and that might be the reason you can't open the fuel door. The cables are easy to replace and not that expensive. When you get the carpet pulled back, see if the springs need a little grease. They might just be a little stiff and need a little grease to help.
