Resetting 89-94 Maxima keyless-entry
What you have to do is remove the glovebox from the car, (which is a couple of screws and a twist of the glovebox light) After you have done this, you will see a silver box on the right-hand side, if you are looking into the glovebox. There are, I believe, 2 screws holding that box in. Remove those screws and you will come to find out that this is your keyless-entry control module...On this box there are several numbers engraved into it...your master code is the number with an "s" in front of it...so for example s7577331, it should have 7 numbers in the master code (WRITE IT DOWN!!!). Then just put this number into your key-pad and it should beep for about 10 seconds, then put in a number combo you'd like and vuala, you've reset your keypad and put in your new code...(use the master code whenever you want to change the code on the door) Hope this helps, and good luck!
