Cruise control doesn't work?!?

I noticed this after I installed my newer VE and I know that I didn't mess anything CC related except for the CC throttle cable. Maybe it got messed up when I pressure washed the engine bay?

Has anybody else experience their CC not working at all? The dash light won't even illuminate when I press the "on" button.

which "on" button do you mean? when I hit the cc power switch on the dash, no lights come on. when I hit the button on the steering wheel, then it comes on.
as brian said. also there is a section in the fsm for diagnosing cc problems.

Where's the CC fuses? I've looked in the FSM and it says to check some relay, but I don't know where the relay is located.

IIRC, the dash light used to come on when I would press the CC "ON" button and now it doesn't... I'm not sure if I had tried pressing the steering wheel CC buttons or not. I probably did.. I just know I couldn't get it to work and the light didn't illuminate in the guage cluster.

I'm going to go for a drive and investigate the problem some more.

I just got back and after messing with some of the buttons on the steering wheel, I got it to illuminate. It doesn't just illuminate, it flashes like the blinker and it still doesn't work.

if i remember correctly isn't it in the interior fuse compartment/ the underhood fuse compartments for the cc related fuses-relays.

I don't know if the Max's are the same as the z31's but there is a little bumper/stopper under the clutch and brake pedals. The function of it is to disengage the cruise control if you clutch in or tap the brake. They wear out over time and eventually fall off. They will keep the CC disengaged full-time once they fall off. Again, this applies directly to the z31's (84-89 300ZX's) but I have found the 3rd Gen Maximas to be nothing more then z31's in disguise
