Some ?'s about removing badges from rear tail light panel>>

Hi fellas, I'm thinking of buying a silver mesh grille soon and I wanted to also remove the "Nissan MAXIMA" badge from the rear center tail light panel, but I had to ?'s first. How do I go about removing the letters?? Is it possible to put the badges back once they are removed? If so then how?

Finally...does anyone have any pic that I can take a look at??

hmmm...i dunno if the GXE's are different but on my SE the emblems are decals and they peel right off...

...but how do I get into the center tail light to get them out?? I don't want to break anything.

hmmm....i guess the GXE's are different cause mine were on the outside...can't help you out there...

do yall have the letters on the red part or on the silver part of the lights? mine are on the outside of the silver part, and i'd like to take them off. i've tried floss, but i couldn't get it under them.

I don't know if it's possible to get under the lettering on our cars. I took a look the other day, and they are raised plastic connected to the back trim. I guess you could always shave it off...but that might not be worth it.

the 89-91SE have decals like Chris said
92-94 (all) I believe are just raised on the outer plastic

89-91GXE are raised plasic but BEHIND the outer panel
I'm not sure whether or not you could remove those letter (I think it looks better with them on, but it's your car)
to remove the panel, I think you just take off the trunk lining (pop a few little trim fasteners off) and then you will see a few bolts to take off (4 or 6 maybe)
