Any particular reason for selling? In my new found effort not to flame I'll just say I'm familar w/ these units.

Oh I know who you are...

Well if you are going turbo, the Venon will "work" on it too.

What is a Venom 400? I have heard of it before but not really sure what it does.

Thanks

Supposedly it adjusts fuel or some B.S. and will give "up to 25%" increases in hp / torque. Stick with the REAL mods and you'll be in much better shape. I've never had one or had any first hand experience with them, but from what I gathered from people who have had these things is that it modifies the signal from the TPS, and supposedly adds more fuel. The stupid part is that without OTHER modifications (more air) more fuel is just going to make you slower... Venom has a poor reputation in the industry for basically making crap, and from I've heard the Venom 400 fits nicely in the same catgory as their other products.

rhammon- No offense, but that's what I've heard about this thing... Good luck selling it...

Take care,

The Venom 400 is a wonderful feature and it is great add-on! The first time I put it on my car I could not believe it! It helped me out 4 tenth's at the track! It hooks to your mass air flow and throttle position sensor and you really need cold air intake with this to get the full effect off of it! When you press the gas it will take off like it never did before! Seriously if you haven't used one you are missing out! All I have heard is that venom is good! There products were highly recommended at Nopi Nationals in Atlanta!

One of the things I tried and didn't like was the
Venom 400 engine control module. What a piece
of junk!!! When I dyno-tested the thing, we found
out that it advanced the timing beyond what was
acceptable, and actually robbed horsepower from
the car. The really bad thing is that it did this
even when it was switched off! The problem was
remedied only when the wiring was disconnected.
As you can see from the picture above, it's not in
my engine bay anymore. It makes a good clay
pigeon though.

No, this is not me...

You've gotta be the guy selling it on E-bay.

NOPI? Then it MUST be good then huh? Last I checked NOPI sold a ton of the Venom stuff... Keep in mind all of my experience comes from RX-7's. Not a single reputable RX-7 tuner shop sells Venom stuff. Here are a few:

www.rx-7.com
www.mazdatrix.com
www.shaneracing.com

Notice that they all sell Nippon Denso or Bosch fuel injectors?
