Replacing cruise control switch

I have 92 SE with the optional Air Bag, their seems to be no way to remove the cruise control without first removing the Air Bag, is this correct? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

you CAN remove it without removing the air bag

if you look at the switches on the side of the wheel you will see a small indention in the middle part on the side
pry a small flathead screwdriver in there and pull the whole plastic part back and out. It will pop out with a little force. Once that's off, you will see 2 small phillips head screws and that's it
