I want to fit a 6x9 into my rear deck. I have a 91 GXE without Bose that has a hole for 6 3/4 opening. I noticed that the speaker opening for the SE with Bose is really 6 3/4 opening with a plastic adapter.. Does this adapter fit my car?? I want to fit 6x9's in there but will that require cutting? Thanks folks.

If you can, you should grab an adaptor from another max with 6x9 Bose (from a junk yard). If not, then perhaps you can always make one. I don't think it should be that hard. Car audio stores would probably sell stuff like that, but it'll most likely be pricey.
